Drawing the Dome with Robert Brownhall
Spend a morning drawing under the guidance of an artist who knows architecture like the back of his hand.
During his residency at Museum of Brisbane, Robert Brownhall sketched Brisbane City Hall from countless vantage points – both onsite at City Hall and offsite from spots across the city. In this intimate studio workshop held to celebrate the exhibition In Residence: A Decade of Creative Practice, Robert will share the foundational drawing techniques behind that work and help you find your own way to see objects and architecture from a new perspective.
Museum of Brisbane's In Residence exhibition celebrates a decade of bold ideas, creativity and artistic innovation through MoB's Artist in Residence program, generously supported by Tim Fairfax AC.
Your ticket includes:
- A hands-on workshop led by a celebrated artist
- All materials and equipment provided
- Your own drawing to take home
- Rare, intimate access to an artist's creative process and techniques
- An opportunity to explore the milestone In Residence exhibition
