Piano megastar Konstantin Shamray promises to dazzle for a second year in a row as SXS Artist in Residence. SXS are joined in 2023 by world famous jazz trumpeter James Morrison and legendary guitarist John Jorgenson (Elton John’s band) who will both compose and perform alongside SXS and Chris Williams in new works for Didgeridoo and ensemble.
2023 highlights include Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 4, Ravel’s Tzigane, Mozart’s Horn Concerto, Bartok’s Viola Concerto, Dvorak’s Largo from the New World Symphony, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
