Bright Future Careers with Dr Karl

Science is the ultimate mental toolbox – it teaches you how to question, solve problems, think critically and adapt to a rapidly changing world. In this inspiring session, Australia’s most famous science communicator, Dr Karl Kruszelnicki explores how science opens doors to the jobs of tomorrow.

Through real-world examples and engaging storytelling, Dr Karl dives into five key areas shaping future careers: Genetics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science and Environmental Science. He’ll explore how each field is evolving and why scientific thinking will be vital in the workforce of the future, no matter what path students choose.

Students will walk away with fresh ideas, practical insights and a deeper understanding of how science can future-proof their careers. Bring your curiosity and your questions!
