Teen Art Workshop: Create Your Own Ocean Mobile
Make something seriously cool in this hands-on art workshop for teens. Inspired by the Ghost Nets of Pormpuraaw exhibition, you'll create your own ocean inspired mobile using natural materials with the option to add reclaimed ghost net for extra colour, texture and movement.
Led by the artists from the Pormpurraw Art and Culture Centre, this 2-hour workshop explores how discarded materials from the ocean can be transformed into powerful artworks. It's a change to get creative, learning about the environmental impacts of ghost nets, and turn reclaimed materials into something unique to take home.
Recommended for ages 12+. Places are limited and bookings are essential.
