QSO Northern Lights, Southern Stars

Two rising superstars and a program of operatic hits

Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) Emerging Artist in Residence, Jake Lyle is becoming renowned for the versatility of his voice, which in this concert conquers everything from Mozart to musical theatre. He teams up with award-winning Australian conductor Sam Weller, who is making waves internationally.

Together, they are a musical force to be reckoned with, as alongside QSO they present a selection of iconic works. Norwegian romanticism abounds in Grieg’s Peer Gynt, featuring the rollicking “In the Hall of the Mountain King”, while Lyle wears his heart on his sleeve with the operatic magic of Gounod’s Faust.
