Backstage Tours

Are you ready to step behind the curtains and experience the thrill of the performing arts in Queensland like never before?

We invite you to travel backstage with one of our knowledgeable guides – current and former Production Event Managers – who’ll lead you on an exploration of the inner workings of QPAC’s theatres.

Discover how each venue is precisely designed to bring performances to life. Learn about the people working behind-the-scenes whose expertise ensures that any show at QPAC can be truly world class. Delight in the backstage secrets, hidden gems and unexpected glimpses of performance that are revealed along the way.

Our tours are the perfect way to explore and celebrate QPAC’s contribution to the rich performing arts culture of Queensland.

Fantastic behind the scenes look at QPAC. You get to see the areas not normally open to the public and learn more about our world class performing arts centre. Highly recommended.

- Tour Participant

Gary was Fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and the tour was amazing. Kids (10 & 13) loved it too and I'd highly recommend it. We will be doing another one!

- Tour Participant

The tour will depart on time. If you arrive late, please report to Stage Door Concierge in the Pedestrian Tunnel, where staff will advise you how to join the tour.

Where possible, limit the bags you bring with you as cloaking facilities are limited. For safety, we suggest you wear flat, enclosed shoes.
