Art of Song

Background artwork by Casey Coolwell-Fisher

Featuring Jess Hitchcock, Megan Sarmardin and SOLCHLD, accompanied by Paul Grabowsky

Three powerful First Nations songwomen – Jess Hitchcock, Megan Sarmardin and SOLCHLD come together to share their personal stories through the art of song, creating an unforgettable and intimate evening of performance. Each artist will perform solo to convey their unique narrative, before joining forces to weave their stories together in a harmonious celebration of culture and voice.

Accompanied by the evocative piano melodies of the renowned Paul Grabowsky, this deeply moving performance offers an authentic and heartfelt exploration of identity, connection and tradition. Through their music, these women will captivate and inspire, inviting the audience into an intimate space of reflection and shared experience.
