The WOW Show

The world is on fire, and the news feels relentless. Rights are being rolled back across the globe, and the UN says gender equality is still 134 years away. It’s easy to feel hopeless, but founder of the global WOW – Women of the World – movement Jude Kelly believes there’s still much to celebrate.

Join Jude and her guests including award winning Australian playwright Suzie Miller for big ideas, personal stories, and surprising conversations as they take a fresh look at the state of feminism today. The show will celebrate changemakers in our community with audiences having the chance to nominate local heroes to join the global WOW Hope Brigade – people who are making a real difference, big or small, to gender equality and social justice, wherever they are in the world.

For 15 years, WOW has been shifting the dial on gender equality, bringing millions together across six continents, including Australia, to celebrate achievements, spark conversations, and take action – always with humour, energy, and passion. Come along, bring your friends, and find reasons to be hopeful.

The WOW Show is part of Brisbane Festival. Find out more here.
