The Brisbane City Youth Ballet are bringing to stage Hans Christian Andersen’s famous tale, The Snow Queen, in a ballet to entertain the whole family. The Snow Queen is a magical winter’s tale of a young girl and her quest to save the boy she loves. Greda sets forth through the snow on her reindeer. The snow goose leads her first to the gypsy camp and then on to the Eastern Summer Palace. Finally she arrives at the Winter Palace where with Kai’s help they battle against the beautiful but evil Snow Queen and her magic mirror. This show with gorgeous costumes, stunning sets and beautiful music will delight ballet fans of all ages.
