State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP) is an educational program for music students that helps extend and encourage their pursuit of musical excellence.

Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University’s SHEP has grown from relatively modest beginnings in 2001.

SHEP is now a firmly established aspect of music learning in Queensland, bringing together young people from all over the State, in regional centres and Brisbane to share their passion for making music.

Concert One: 8:30am to 9:30am
Ensembles: Percy Grainger, Brian Hogg (Winds)

Concert Two: 10:30am to 11:30am
Ensembles: Graham Lloyd, William Lovelock (Winds)

Concert Three: 12:30pm to 2pm
Ensembles: Sir Charles (String), Colin Brumby (Vocal), Isolde Schaupp (Guitar)

Concert Four: 3pm to 4:30pm
Ensembles: Sally Sloane, Alfred Hill (Strings), Malcolm Williamson (Vocal)

Concert Five: 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Ensembles: Betty Beath and Jazz Vocals
