Duo Concertant
Commemorating the centenary of Fauré's death, this programme combines his exquisite early violin sonatas with later music from his younger French contemporaries, Debussy and Ravel.
Also presented will be one of the masterpieces from Stravinsky's neo-classical period, the Duo Concertant, written for the composer himself to perform with the virtuoso violinist, Samuel Dushkin.
