Join us at the birth place of rail in Queensland for the return of this hallmark event with a brand new name! Planes, Trains and Autos presents Fully Charged will continue to celebrate all things aviation, rail and autos including:

  • Thrilling solo and duo aerobatic displays.
  • Interactive family activities and practical demonstrations.
  • Access to explore all museum exhibitions and activities.
  • Self-guided walk-through tours.
  • Large scale machinery.
  • Kids will be spoilt for choice with the Nippers Railway adventure playground plus create your own paper planes and test them in wind tunnels.
  • Food trucks and roving entertainment.

Planes, Trains and Autos presents Fully Charged is an Ipswich City Council-initiated event presented in partnership with Queensland Museum Rail Workshops as part of Planes, Trains and Autos festival.

Important Information

Session times

Fully Charged runs on the hour, every hour from 9am to 4pm.

There is no limit on how long you stay at Fully Charged. It generally takes 2-3 hours to experience everything the event has to offer.

Ticket pricing

For best pricing options, purchase prior to event day. Ticket sales will increase on the event day.

To ensure the Planes, Trains and Autos presents Fully Charged experience is an enjoyable one for all visitors, we have capped each event session to assist with evenly distributing attendance across the one-day event.
