Medici Concerts Alexander Gavrylyuk

Alexander Gavrylyuk was born in 1984 in the Ukraine and began his piano studies at the age of seven. He moved to Australia when he was fourteen. Hailed by critics worldwide for his ‘blow-your-socks-off virtuosity’, Alexander has been called ‘another Horowitz’. His thrilling pianism, dazzling finger-work and command of instrumental colour seems a throwback to the Golden Age pianists. He has won the Gold Medal at many of the world's top international piano competitions, including the prestigious Horowitz and Rubinstein competitions.

Gavrylyuk’s busy concert schedule sees him playing with the world's top orchestras and conductors in all the major concert halls worldwide.
