Organist David Bailey will craft a live score on the Gallery’s 1929 Wurlitzer Pipe organ for King Vidor’s Hollywood silent epic The Crowd (1928). A tale of the hopes and dreams of an ordinary couple struggling to stay together and stay afloat in an impersonal metropolis, The Crowd hints at the power of love and the possibility of redemption.
