Patrons must arrive by 3:30pm to board. The Art Boat will depart strictly at the start time advertised on the ticket, missing the boat departure constitutes a forfeiture of the ticket. Refunds will not be offered to patrons who miss the boat departure, except in instances where required by law or the LPA Ticketing Consumer Code.

Young people are welcome if accompanied by an adult, noting that The Art Boat contains a licensed bar and the content of some performances may contain more adult themes. Discretion is advised.

There is a bar onboard selling a range of snack options and drinks. The onboard bar also offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase. Patrons are not permitted to bring any externally sourced food or drink on board.

Wheelchair access is challenging from this dock. Please call QTIX to discuss your accessibility requirements so we can talk about how we might get you safely aboard The Art Boat. The Art Boat itself has a ramp, accessible bathroom facilities and a dedicated accessible seating area on the main level with a good view of the performance area.

Patrons are encouraged to check the weather forecast on the day of their departure and dress appropriately for expected conditions. The event will occur in all weather conditions except for during extreme weather events that pose a threat to patron safety. Refunds will be offered if an event is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions.

The entire duration of the event takes place on a boat on the Brisbane River. Patrons who are uncomfortable on boats are not encouraged to attend this event. Patrons will also be required to comply with all safety directions from Brisbane Festival or The Art Boat staff.

Pram parking will be available. Please advise QTIX prior to the event if you intend to bring your pram on the day.
