QTIX

7pm and 9pm shows will feature nudity, coarse language, sexual innuendo and adult themes. As such, these sessions will now be strictly 16+. Those under the age of 16 will not be permitted entry to The Art Boat.

The 5pm show features partial nudity, coarse language, and sexual innuendo and is recommended for audiences aged 16+. Children attending with adult supervision are only permitted on the balcony levels, above the performance floor.

The 3pm matinee show is appropriate for all ages and specially programmed for families and children.  

Patrons must arrive 30 minutes prior to departure. The Art Boat will depart strictly at the start time advertised on the ticket, missing the boat departure constitutes a forfeiture of the ticket. Refunds will not be offered to patrons who miss the boat departure, except in instances where required by law or the LPA Ticketing Consumer Code.

The Art Boat is wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp, accessible bathroom facilities, and a dedicated accessible seating area on the main level with a good view of the performance area.

Pram parking will be available. Please advise QTIX prior to the event if you intend to bring your pram on the day.

Patrons are encouraged to check the weather forecast on the day of their departure and dress appropriately for expected conditions. The event will occur in all weather conditions except for during extreme weather events that pose a threat to patron safety. Refunds will be offered if an event is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions.

The entire duration of the event takes place on a boat on the Brisbane River. Patrons who are uncomfortable on boats are not encouraged to attend this event. Patrons will also be required to comply with all safety directions from Brisbane Festival or The Art Boat staff.
