Singin’ in the Rain is coming to QPAC in an all-new sensational concert version, exclusive to Brisbane!
As the much-loved classic film, made famous by the late and great Gene Kelly, celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, audiences will experience the delightful story, beautiful voices and some of the best tapping and dance talent this country has ever seen.
Singin’ in the Rain – In Concert features stunning choreography and timeless songs adored by generations including “Good Morning”, “Make ‘em Laugh”, “Gotta Dance” and the classic “Singin' In The Rain”.
Showcasing the talents some of Australia’s top calibre performers including Bobby Fox (Jersey Boys, Riverdance, Hot Shoe Shuffle) as Don Lockwood, Angelique Cassimatis (A Chorus Line, Strictly Ballroom, Hair) as Kathy Selden, Mark Hill (West Side Story, Tap Pack, Muriel’s Wedding the Musical) as Cosmo Brown and Rachael Ward (An American in Paris, Chicago, Evita) as Lina Lamont, this production also features some of Brisbane’s finest local talent in an exciting, fresh and never-before-seen concert presentation.
This glorious production is directed by renown Australian choreographer Cameron Mitchell and features a richly memorable musical score performed by an on-stage orchestra, under the baton of the highly acclaimed Vanessa Scammell.
