These performances of the short comique operas, Lortzing’s Die Opernprobe and Schubert’s Der häusliche Krieg culminate an intense month of coaching and stage craft experience for the sixteen emerging professional singers from Australia and New Zealand who successfully auditioned for The Lisa Gasteen National Opera Program (LGNOP) 2022.

The music staff who prepared these singers all have extensive international musical experience, but most importantly are recognized for nurturing inexperienced talented performers and their strong association with LGNOP.

The wit, tuneful music, contemporary settings, sung in German with English dialogue should intrigue! Bring your family, support your musical friends and Queensland based LGNOP.
